There's a free version that's lower bandwith/quality for quick download, or for a small donation you can dowload a CD quality version (along with a whole bundle of other stuff, including Happy Birthday - that's right, one payment, many tracks). Jingle Bells is old enough to be out of copyright and in the public domain, so with my new recording of it, its free to use and download. If you like it, all I ask is that you consider making a small donation and as a thank you you'll get access to the high quality versions. easypeasy's music hosting is over at my music publishing website www.stingsandthings.com and you'll find jingle bells right there on the front page. Send it to friends, family, work colleagues, or even your enemies, just to cheer them up (after all, we are talking about the Christmas Spirit). Apparently Jingle Bells, one of the most famous American Christmas songs, was originally written for Thanksgiving! The author and composer of Jingle Bells was a minister called James Pierpoint who composed the song in 1857 for children celebrating his Boston Sunday School Thanksgiving. The song was so popular that it was repeated at Christmas, and indeed Jingle Bells has been reprised ever since. related items [tags: Christmas santa mp3 entertainment]
